About the role

  • Idea Generation: Research and identify innovative product ideas in the banking and credit sector in India by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
  • Product Development: Create detailed MVP (Minimum Viable Product) product notes that outline features, functionalities, and user flows.
  • Mock-up Creation: Collaborate with design teams to develop product mocks and prototypes.
  • PoC and MVP Development: Assist as a Product Manager in developing Proof of Concepts (PoC) and Minimum Viable Products (MVP), ensuring they meet business requirements and Zeta standards.
  • Client Engagement: Prepare and deliver compelling product pitches to clients, incorporating their feedback to refine product concepts.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry developments and competitor strategies to inform product positioning and strategy.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product development and launch.
  • Strategy Planning: Assist in defining product roadmaps and strategies that align with company goals and customer requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics to inform iterative improvements and future developments.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of product features, specifications, and development processes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on product progress.

Requirements

  • Product Management Skills: Experience with product development processes, including creating MVPs and PoCs.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify market opportunities and customer needs.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective client pitches and stakeholder interactions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with prototyping tools and basic understanding of software development processes.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with design, engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Market Research: Experience in conducting market analysis and user research.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of the banking and credit sector in India is preferable.
  • 3 to 6 yrs of total experience in a product role
  • BE/BTech from any reputed engineering institutions, computer science engineering would be preferred.
  • Any management degree from a Tier 1/2 institute would be a plus.
