About the role
- Own product positioning, messaging, and proof points for defined products, solutions, and capabilities within the ZeroFox platform
- Champion the voice of the customer and the reality of the threat landscape throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation and roadmap input through launch, adoption, and expansion
- Translate technical capabilities, threat intelligence, and platform workflows into credible, market-ready narratives and assets
- Define customer segments, use cases, and sales motions, and enable Sales and partner teams with clear messaging and supporting tools
- Develop high-quality PMM assets including pitch decks, solution briefs, battlecards, website content, and launch materials
- Serve as a subject matter expert on buyers, buying criteria, competitive alternatives, and relevant security and technology trends
- Partner closely with Product Management and Threat Intelligence to validate messaging, avoid superficial claims, and maintain technical accuracy
- Collaborate with Growth and Demand Generation teams to support integrated go-to-market campaigns and programs
- Leverage modern AI tools and workflows to accelerate research, synthesis, drafting, and iteration while maintaining rigor and accuracy
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in product marketing or a closely related role within B2B software
- Experience in cybersecurity software, with strong preference for exposure to threat intelligence, digital risk, fraud, or adjacent domains
- Demonstrated ability to develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for technical products
- Technical fluency sufficient to read and interpret product documentation, threat research, and architecture concepts
- Strong content creation skills across sales enablement, web, and go-to-market materials
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Threat Intelligence, Sales, and Marketing teams
- Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and execute with discipline in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Gamma, or similar
- Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts including structured prompts, role prompting, iterative refinement, and output evaluation
- Ability to design repeatable AI-assisted workflows for research, competitive analysis, drafting, and presentation development
- Strong judgment in validating AI-generated outputs against product truth, primary sources, and threat reality
- Strong passion for cybersecurity and protecting organizations from real-world threats
- Comfort operating in a high-expectation, execution-oriented environment
- Analytical ability to reason about technical concepts and derive clear, defensible customer value
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on clarity over hype
- Strategic thinking paired with a bias toward execution and measurable impact
- Curiosity, intellectual rigor, and a commitment to producing accurate, useful work
