About the role
- Provide technical expertise, support, and guidance to customers to ensure satisfaction
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with the sales team through discovery to closing deals and drive revenue
- Conduct product demonstrations, deliver presentations, and perform proof-of-concept (POC) activities
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, solution designs, and product specifications
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to provide feedback and stay updated on releases
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows and travel as needed
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience (Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering)
- Proven experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales / technical sales role, preferably in the information security industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed
