About the role
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end processing of crypto and fiat transfers, ensuring all transactions are finalized accurately and on time.
- Perform frequent checks between internal records and external statements to identify and resolve any discrepancies or "breaks" in account balances.
- Investigate failed transfers or mismatched data by querying databases and reviewing transaction logs to find the root cause of issues.
- Use basic scripting (e.g., Python or Excel macros) to automate repetitive manual reconciliation tasks and increase operational speed.
- Generate recurring reports and dashboards to track transaction health, settlement volume, and operational performance for leadership.
- Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to test new features and provide feedback on internal settlement tools.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for institutional clients to help resolve transaction inquiries quickly and effectively.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional experience in financial operations, payments, or a related back-office settlement role.
- Basic proficiency with Python or similar scripting languages to help with data manipulation and automation.
- Ability to write basic SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from internal databases.
- Familiarity with how APIs work (e.g., using Postman to check transaction statuses) is a strong plus.
- A track record of high accuracy in transactional environments where precision is critical.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
