About the role
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategy
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Partner cross-functionally with teams across the organization to define metrics, measure performance, and interpret data to drive decision-making
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support decision-making across departments
- Develop and maintain data models and queries to support reporting needs
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through validation and quality checks
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- 1 to 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar analytical role
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field)
- Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with complex datasets
- Experience building dashboards with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.)
- Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets at an advanced level
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis (preferred but not required)
- Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Detail-oriented, curious, and proactive in identifying opportunities
- Communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and business audiences
