Frontend Engineer

• Architect & Implement: Lead the development of complex React applications using modern patterns (Hooks, Context, Composition).
• Design System Leadership: Build, maintain, and document reusable component libraries to ensure visual and functional consistency across our entire ecosystem, MUI experience preferred.
• Performance & Best Practices: Optimize frontend performance, ensure accessibility compliance, and enforce clean code standards through rigorous peer reviews.
• Collaborative Design: Partner closely with Product Designers to translate Figma mocks into high-fidelity, responsive layouts, providing technical feedback on UI/UX feasibility.
• Full-Stack Awareness: Consume and occasionally contribute to API design (Node.js/Python) to ensure seamless data flow between the frontend and backend.

Senior Software Engineer, Front End

Product Designer

• Lead the development of AI-driven automation and tooling for our design system — including automated component generation, design-to-code workflows, token management, accessibility checking, and other innovations that improve efficiency and quality
• Partner closely with Engineering to build and implement technical solutions, bringing a strong understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS) and implementation constraints to design decisions
• Experiment extensively with generative AI, identifying opportunities to integrate emerging technologies into design workflows, rapid prototyping, and product features
• Contribute to ZenBusiness's AI-powered product offerings, bringing a design perspective and technical understanding to shape experiences that feel coherent and thoughtful
• Collaborate with Design Systems and Brand partners to ensure automation and tooling reinforce brand guidelines, personality, and coherence across the platform
• Mentor designers and share knowledge across the team — helping others understand new tools, workflows, and approaches while fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement
• Bring clarity to ambiguity by defining thoughtful paths forward, identifying opportunities, and rallying cross-functional partners around shared direction
• Advocate for experience quality and technical excellence, setting a high bar for craft, judgment, and innovation
• Explore and evaluate emerging technologies, forming opinionated views on how to incorporate them effectively into day-to-day work

• Act as the day-to-day design leader for ZenBusiness’ core product experience, ensuring clarity, coherence, and quality across end-to-end workflows.
• Lead, mentor, and develop designers and design leaders, helping grow individual talent while evolving the overall design practice within Product.
• Work hands-on alongside designers when needed — modeling strong design judgment, craft, and problem framing.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering leaders to shape direction, define opportunities, and translate strategy into shipped experiences.
• Collaborate with Brand Marketing and Design Systems to ensure the product experience is aligned, cohesive, and scalable.

Design Director

Full-stack Engineer

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions in an agile, AI-first environment, delivering value through iterative and data-driven development.
• Build and maintain full-stack applications using React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend, with Python used where appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business and user needs into well-designed technical solutions.
• Apply and advocate for coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines, ensuring code is clean, maintainable, well-tested, and secure.
