About the role
- Responsible for preparing the monthly and annual consolidated financial statements of the ZEIT publishing group in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Coordinate intercompany reconciliations within the ZEIT publishing group
- Develop and implement group-wide accounting standards
- Prepare accurate reports and analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Work closely with colleagues in Accounting, Controlling and subsidiaries
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in group accounting or group consolidation
- Preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Deep understanding of group structures and modern accounting principles
- Proficient user of SAP and common accounting software products
