About the role

  • Responsible for maintaining and continuously developing the standards management system as the Application Owner
  • Maintain ZEISS's standards portfolio, manage standards procurement, and communicate changes to business units
  • Review and adjust standards licensing models in coordination with standards organizations
  • Conduct training and provide advisory support for standards research
  • Prepare status reports on standardization for management and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the central standardization strategy
  • Organize internal standardization conferences and maintain regular communications

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in standards management and standardization
  • Experience in an IT environment, preferably as an Application Owner of a database
  • Experience facilitating workshops
  • Professional report writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong customer focus
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Business-fluent German and English
