About the role
- Installation and commissioning of ZEISS ophthalmic diagnostic and therapeutic devices at customer sites
- Performing regular maintenance as well as diagnosing and resolving technical issues on our devices
- Training and supporting customers in the operation and maintenance of the devices
- Advising customers on technical questions and supporting our sales and applications staff
- Preparing detailed reports of work performed, including documentation of technical issues and their resolutions
Requirements
- Completed technical training and/or degree, ideally in mechatronics, electronics, or a comparable field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical field service within medical technology
- Solid knowledge of electrical engineering and mechanics, and experience working with complex technical equipment
- Strong IT skills: MS Office and CRM system experience as well as Windows, networking, and administrator-level knowledge are required
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
- Ability to quickly analyze technical problems and develop efficient solutions
- High level of self-initiative and the ability to work independently and in an organized manner
- Fluent German (spoken and written); good English skills
- Valid driving license (Class B)
