- Partner with Service and Applications to ensure successful installation, training, and customer satisfaction following the sale
- Analyze product performance (i.e., performance to specification and reliability) and provide feedback, together with recommended improvements
- Practice, plan and implement content to support the ZEISS Selling Process (ZSP) process
- Technical Support, Product Support, Customer Centers, Aftersales, and the Back Office with technical, application, configuration, questions and needs
- Facilitate collateral generation (i.e., images and applications examples) when needed.
- Monitor market for upcoming new applications and possible interaction with products of other ZEISS companies as well as third party companies
Requirements
- Knowledge of the MR market, applications, equipment, customers’ needs, competitive landscape and technologies preferred.
- Prior experience in technical sales highly preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of working knowledge of high-end microscopy, including electron, laser scanning, and light microscopy, and other imaging techniques in a customer-facing, applications support, or technical sales environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
- Excellent organizational skills and teamwork.
- BSc/BA in Materials Sciences or Engineering, graduate degree preferred.
- Ability to direct/work in a globally diverse team setting.
- Self-motivated, self-starter and energetic.
- Travel (domestic) totaling at up to 50%.
