About the role

  • Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software for DIW applications
  • Develop high-end client-server applications; design/develop web pages and web interfaces
  • Address systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform issues
  • Interface with clients/end users to identify application requirements; perform feasibility analysis
  • Research, test, build, and coordinate conversion/integration of new products
  • Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications
  • Test and validate software; ensure Section 508 compliance
  • Develop user manuals and technical documentation
  • Mobile development: iOS applications, Xamarin cross-platform development
  • Database integration with Oracle and SQL Server
  • Performance optimization and security implementation

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in scripting, software development, web page design and development
  • 10 years of hands-on software development/web-page development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology related field with 10 years of relevant experience
  • DoD 8570/8140 certification
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD): App Builder or Web Applications (preferred)
  • Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE Programmer (preferred)
  • Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) (preferred)
  • Angular or React certification (preferred)
  • iOS Developer certification from Apple (preferred)
  • Xamarin Certified Mobile Developer (preferred)
  • AWS Certified Developer or Azure Developer Associate (preferred)
  • CompTIA Security+ (preferred)
  • Section 508 Trusted Tester certification (preferred)
  • ITIL Foundation or higher (preferred)
