About the role
- Develop, lead and manage the global Fleet Management commodity
- Align business requirements with commodity and sustainability strategies together with relevant stakeholders
- Develop, implement and continuously improve the strategy
- Design and implement a tailored global fleet policy in close coordination with internal stakeholders
- Responsible for contract strategy, negotiating framework agreements, NDAs, etc.
- Lead relevant e-auction events for your commodity
- Report on commodity strategy, market trends, supply chain risks, sustainability initiatives and savings
- Supplier management: supplier qualification, selection, development and qualification of suppliers
Requirements
- University degree (law, business) or equivalent experience
- Experienced Category or Commodity Manager in Indirect Procurement within global, multinational, multi-site organizations
- Solid experience in Indirect Procurement; strong preference for experience in fleet management
- Strong influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and continuous improvement orientation
- Experience with procurement software (SAP/Oracle) and e-procurement (e.g., e-auctions)
- Fluent English required; German skills advantageous but not mandatory
- 30 days vacation
