About the role
- Lead the execution of MMM consulting projects from intake to delivery across internal Yum brands and external clients
- Conduct category and brand-level analysis to define modeling variables, data needs, and performance benchmarks
- Build and validate statistical models (e.g., linear regression, regularization techniques) using tools such as Python, R, SQL
- Deliver insights and recommendations through scenario planning and ROI simulations to optimize media allocation
- Act as the primary escalation point of contact for project interactions with brand teams and marketing partners
- Translate technical results into compelling business narratives through visualization, dashboards, and presentations
- Provide real-time consultation during planning cycles, brand reviews, and investment recalibration discussions
- Mentor and guide analysts on best practices in MMM, statistical modeling, QA, and consulting communication
- Ensure delivery rigor and model consistency across projects while incorporating new techniques and lessons learned
- Continuously evaluate and enhance delivery methodologies based on the latest trends in media measurement and martech
- Manage multiple client relationships simultaneously across geographies and verticals, ensuring high satisfaction and value delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field
- 12+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with a demonstrated focus on MMM, consulting, and client/stakeholder management
- Proven success in leading cross-functional analytics teams and mentoring junior talent
- Deep understanding of how marketing is executed, both digitally and traditionally, and how those investments affect business KPIs
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working across diverse industries, including QSR, CPG and Retail (highly preferred)
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder influencing, and project leadership skills
- Experience in Bayesian modeling frameworks and familiarity with cutting-edge martech platforms
- Adept at data visualization, presentation design, and business storytelling
- Demonstrated experience executing MMM or equivalent econometric frameworks across diverse media environments
- Ability to synthesize data into compelling stories tailored to marketers and finance stakeholders
- Prior experience managing analysts and leading analytics projects across multiple markets or verticals
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously across geographies and verticals
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and marketing modeling libraries such as scikit-learn, statsmodels, and Prophet (preferred)
- Familiarity with Yum’s brand ecosystem or similar multi-brand enterprise environments (preferred)
- Background in experimentation design (e.g., holdouts, lift tests) and media effectiveness analysis (preferred)
- Deep industry knowledge in QSR sectors (preferred)
