About the role
- Lead the Build Team Capability pillar strategy across 19K restaurants, aligning diverse business needs with a unified approach.
- Support train-the-trainer learning experiences to get key programs to franchise organizations and global training leaders.
- Manage and evolve existing blended learning programs.
- Market and creatively communicate to ensure proper use and adoption of programs and tools.
- Design experiences that will be easily adopted across the globe.
- Develop and track annual budget and operating plans to create, maintain, and sustain training programs.
- Research industry approach to training and ensure Pizza Hut offers modern, relevant learning experiences that promote belonging, growth, and empowerment for learners.
- Stay informed of the latest leadership development trends; adapt and share learnings to enhance current and future programs.
- Consult with and be a thought-partner to other pillar leads on the Global Training team, helping evolve global training experiences for all roles.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Development, and People and Culture teams.
- Influence franchise partners to adopt, champion, measure, and sustain training programs.
- Inspire, mentor, coach, learn from, and manage team of 3 trainers/instructional designers.
- Support team to create and manage project plans.
- Build strong relationships to create an internal and external team to bring experiences to life.
- Teach others Instructional Design theory and practice.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the team, encouraging new ideas, experimentation, and learning.
- Conduct needs, audience, and task analysis to identify learning objectives.
- Translate business goals and audience insights into clear learning objectives using adult-learning principles.
- Partner with data analyst to identify and measure business outcomes and leverage performance and training data to provide actionable insights that improve field execution.
- Learn continuously and adjust approach based on business outcomes and needs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Field HR, Training.
- You will be required to attend the Plano, TX office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- Strong knowledge of Instructional Design theory.
- Kirkpatrick levels of evaluation, best practices in the field of learning, creating, supporting, and sustaining blended learning experiences.
- Proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, strong attention to detail, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in virtually connected, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments.
- Ability to think critically, analytically, and creatively.
- Experience creating blended training programs.
- Ability to naturally incorporate a message of inclusion and belonging into work, life, and programs.
- Demonstrates a growth-mindset and sense of curiosity.
- Ability to make deep connections to influence and inspire partnerships.
- Excellent facilitation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaborator.
- Ability to involve and influence key stakeholders.
- Preferred: Restaurant industry/operations or ops support experience.
- Experience working with Franchisees.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Examples: Learning & Development, ISD, English, Comms, I/O Psychology, Education, or related field and/or certifications)
