About the role
- Develop and implement comprehensive, full-funnel media strategies that align with Pizza Hut's brand objectives and marketing goals – with a strong understanding of driving commercial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Brand Strategy & Planning, Creative, Social, Partnerships and CRM to ensure cohesive and effective media campaigns.
- Lead the planning, negotiation, and execution of media buys across various channels including TV, digital, audio, social, and print.
- Manage relationships with media agencies and vendors to ensure we plan and execute best-in-class strategies, maximize creative and platform capabilities to drive optimal performance and ROI.
- Lead end-to-end media partnership activations, serving as the primary owner across strategy, partner management, execution, and performance evaluation.
- Continuously identify new media opportunities and partnership opportunities to drive brand visibility and engagement.
- Lead, monitor, optimize, and report on media performance to inform stakeholders and future media planning and investment decisions.
- Oversee budget, billing and reconciliations process with key finance partners, agency and internal media team.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure Pizza Hut remains at the forefront of media innovation.
- Manage a team of 2 direct reports, setting clear direction and providing support to foster growth of internal media talent.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in media planning and buying, preferably within the QSR or retail industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful media campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in media planning tools and software.
