About the role
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain and optimize the general ledger within NetSuite
- Perform intricate bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow)
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements and internal controls
- Act as a primary finance liaison for other departments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting
- Strong proficiency in NetSuite is required
- Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets (e.g., nested formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling)
- Deep working knowledge of US GAAP and experience maintaining internal controls
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting financial data to staff, managers, and executive leadership
- Experience with Confluence, Google Workspace, and integrated fintech tools (e.g., Expensify, Bill.com) preferred
