About the role
- Coordinating legal disputes, managing case files, tracking deadlines, and organizing documents.
- Liasing with our legal team and external law firms to process cases effectively.
- Keeping licensors and other stakeholders informed of legal matters concerning their assets.
- Maintaining and organizing our contract database, ensuring all agreements are correctly executed and filed.
- Assisting in the drafting and review of license agreements.
Requirements
- Experience working as a paralegal, legal assistant, or have a degree in law/business law
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadlines
- A structured, organized, and reliable working style
- Experience working as part of a team and in an international environment
- Full working proficiency in English
- It's a bonus if you have:
- Full working proficiency in other languages, especially German
- Experience with intellectual property / copyright law
- Sophisticated understanding of and experience with international music business, for example at a music label, music publishing company, music distributor, or performance rights organization
- Business judgment and strategic thinking skills
- Entrepreneurial and creative thinking skills
