About the role
- Prepare and send offer letters to prospective camp employees.
- Process CORIs (Criminal Offender Record Information) for current staff and all prospective hires.
- Follow up with candidates to collect required documentation for background checks.
- Verify that all background checks (CORI/SORI) are cleared prior to HR orientations.
- Conduct reference checks for prospective camp employees using our referencing platform.
- Track and review orientation sign-ups for all new hires.
- Communicate with candidates to ensure they bring required documentation (e.g., I-9 materials) to orientation.
- Follow up with employees who have not signed up for orientation to confirm their attendance.
- Finalize all camp hires in ADP prior to HR orientation.
- Submit the names of rehire candidates to HRIS for processing.
- Assist with organizing and coordinating pre-camp HR orientation meetings.
- Attend HR orientations to provide logistical and administrative support.
Requirements
- Understanding of the full recruitment cycle (job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding).
- Strong attention to detail for managing job postings, offer letters, and compliance documentation.
- Ability to handle multiple open roles simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Professional verbal and written communication to engage candidates and hiring managers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong customer service orientation when assisting applicants and hiring managers.
- Familiarity with HR Systems such as Pinpoint (ATS) and ADP (HRIS) preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and scheduling tools.
