About the role
- Provide technical sales support to consulting engineers, contractors, distributors, and internal sales teams.
- Review plans and specifications, perform hydraulic system analysis, and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
- Support bids, proposals, submittals, and technical documentation for municipal and industrial projects.
- Coordinate with sales, customer service, project management, and manufacturing to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
- Deliver technical presentations, lunch-and-learns, and seminars for customers and engineering partners.
- Provide field engineering support, including troubleshooting and site visits when needed.
- Prepare drawings, conceptual designs, and equipment sizing to support project execution.
- Manage smaller technical projects and assist with large multi-department initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or related engineering discipline)
- 3+ years of experience in the water/wastewater industry or a related engineering field
- Membership in an Association of Professional Engineers
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and system designs
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working with customers, contractors, or consulting engineers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
