About the role
- Identify, screen, establish and maintain sales channels through resellers and system integrators
- Plan and lead complex negotiations with customers
- Present the full range of pure water systems to customers and ensure customer needs and expectations are met
- Initiate and implement appropriate marketing activities in collaboration with internal departments to achieve sales and revenue targets
- Prepare technical and solution-oriented standard and project proposals in close coordination with internal teams through to successful contract completion
- Regularly produce short- and medium-term forecasts for expected sales development
Requirements
- Degree in a natural science or equivalent qualification with at least 5 years of professional experience
- Knowledge of pure water treatment (Ultra Pure Water) and applications in medical and laboratory settings
- Strong knowledge of CRM and business management software (e.g., Dynamics, Salesforce)
- Confident user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Analytical and solution-oriented working style, plus excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills
- Experience identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities
- Willingness to travel for multi-day stays within the sales territory
- Excellent German and English skills; additional languages are an advantage
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with industry trends
- Strong team orientation and constructive collaboration to leverage diverse perspectives
- Strong results orientation with clear goal focus and efficient execution
