About the role

  • Join the Subsea and Marine Division focusing on dynamic finite element analysis for offshore risers, flowlines, and cables.
  • Utilize OrcaFlex for finite element analysis and Python for simulation processing and development.
  • Engage with a culture of trust, teamwork, and professional development.
  • Work on a variety of engineering studies for clients within the energy sector.

Requirements

  • BEng or MEng qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discpline.
  • Must have strong ability with OrcaFlex, analysis processes and experienced at using Python coding.
  • Knowledge of unbonded flexible pipe design and construction would be a benefit.
  • Actively working towards Chartership status would be a benefit.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the offshore energy industry.
  • Be adaptable and agile to enable delivery of assignments at short notice while multi-tasking across concurrent project scopes.
  • Strong report writing ability.
  • First class communication demonstrating ability to summarise key drivers succinctly.
