About the role
- Plan, establish, and manage IT projects, serving as liaison between business and technical aspects.
- Provide management expertise in team building, communications, time management, quality assurance, and risk management.
- Create Project Management Plan for project planning, scheduling, communications, and reporting.
- Subject Matter Expert in DevSecOps practices and tooling.
- Analyze data collected during project lifecycle to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Attend monthly status meetings responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and provide technical guidance to the project team.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to oversee workflow of project staff.
- Perform responsibilities utilizing agile methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field is highly desired.
- 5+ years of proven project management experience, preferably in the IT federal contracting industries.
- Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
- Preferred SAFe Agile or Scrum Master certified.
- Preferred Defense Manpower Data Center project(s) experiences.
- Direct work experience with agile methodologies.
- Understanding of project management principles and planning.
- Understanding information technology procedures and practices.
- Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, Microsoft, Excel, SharePoint, Powerpoint, etc.
- Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.
- Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service is driven and oriented.
- Ability to pass extensive background investigation.
- US Citizen
- Clearance: Public Trust.
- Preferred active Public Trust with the Department of Defense or have successfully obtained a DoD interim secret clearance or higher.
