About the role
- Provide human resources and payroll support for a government program
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes in accordance with government and agency-specific requirements
- Maintain, verify, and audit personnel records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist with timekeeping, payroll processing support, and benefits administration
- Demonstrate working knowledge of payroll systems to review, validate, and resolve payroll-related issues
- Respond effectively to shifting priorities, changing policies, and updated government directives
- Collaborate with program leadership on employee engagement initiatives and workforce planning
- Track and document HR actions within government and internal HR systems
Requirements
- Active Top Secret Clearance Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of employee/candidate engagement experience
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and records management
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Demonstrated adaptability to changing policies, procedures, and directives
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
