About the role
- Drive toward integration and alignment of people, processes, data, tools, and systems that impact Integrated System Planning.
- Responsible for business process improvements and provides team and project leadership that facilitates organizational alignment, continuous process improvement, and change management.
- Analyze business processes to identify and document issues where a standard doesn’t exist or where processes are inconsistent, are unnecessarily complex, aren’t being followed, add cost without value, impede the ability to fulfill obligations in a timely manner, or contribute to customer dissatisfaction.
- Provide specific process improvement recommendations to increase productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate across many stakeholders and business process owners to ensure alignment of organizational structure, roles, responsibilities, processes, standards, performance measures, and training plans.
- Lead cross functional teams to drive process improvements to successful integration by: identifying and articulating key business issues and defining project scope, including clarifying project objectives in alignment with corporate objectives and overall strategic direction; understanding market and internal views; designing process, organization and technology solutions; performing gap analysis and preparing business cases for change (benefits and costs); defining change management requirements, including communications and process, system and training requirements facilitating plan development and implementation; defining key performance indicators and implementing performance monitoring; and transitioning to continuous process improvement monitoring and measurement.
- Gain organizational buy-in and effectively communicate critical elements of process improvement solutions to a variety of stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, marketing or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years experience in business planning, organizational and process management, or process improvement.
- Ability to understand and assess complex business scenarios, and effectively communicate to a variety of audiences.
- Leadership, change management and program/project management experience.
- Proven success gaining cross-functional buy-in on initiatives.
- Process development and integration experience (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma certification).
