About the role

  • Supports business side efforts for GIS consolidation and technology related projects.
  • Partners with senior leaders to drive integrated process, data and technology improvements.
  • Accountable for advancing the integrity, quality and function of business unit-related processes, asset data, and applications.
  • Regularly measures process effectiveness, efficiency, adherence, and data integrity.
  • Develops, implements and manages the mission critical enterprise databases and supporting systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least ten years' experience in the utility industry, with an emphasis in Geospatial Information Systems and/or Asset Data Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership.
  • Ability to translate business problems and objectives into functional requirements.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate within a matrix organization.
  • Significant utility industry business/process knowledge to influence and drive enterprise process and data focused initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver strategic messages and build strong employee engagement while delivering on key performance measures.
  • Demonstrated understanding of core business processes and industry trends.
