About the role
- Use proprietary software to provide labels, annotations, and inputs on projects involving safety protocols, risk scenarios, and policy compliance.
- Support the delivery of high-quality curated data that reinforces AI resilience and ethical alignment.
- Collaborate with technical staff to develop tasks that improve AI's ability to detect and resist unsafe behaviors.
- Work with technical staff to improve annotation tools for efficient workflows.
- Train and refine Grok to implement strong safeguards against misuse and vulnerabilities.
- Help prevent harmful applications in critical domains by minimizing existential risks and enforcing ethical boundaries.
Requirements
- Expertise in identifying and testing AI model vulnerabilities, including jailbreaking methods, to enhance safety mechanisms.
- Deep commitment to addressing existential risks, such as those related to radiological or biological weapons.
- Ability to interpret and apply AI safety policies effectively.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex scenarios, with strong skills in ethical reasoning and risk assessment.
- Strong ability to utilize resources, guidelines, and frameworks for accurate safety-focused annotations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and ethical decision-making skills.
- Commitment to developing AI that prioritizes safety and risk mitigation.
- Experience in AI red-teaming, alignment research, or roles involving safety evaluations and policy development. (Preferred)
