About the role
- Develop strong relationship with Department managers to help coordinate and monitor financial controls
- Evaluate financial processes to maximize efficiency
- Maintain general ledger and complete month-end financial data
- Investigate and communicate variance issues
- Develop and submit analytical financial data as needed
- Assist with financial support documentation for budget and audits
- Ensure timely completion of specialty focus duties
- Participate in educational opportunities for skill enhancement
- Support performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Two (2) years of accounting experience
- Hospital based or healthcare accounting experience
