About the role
- Turn state-of-the-art AI/ML research into reliable engineering solutions for hearing technology
- Design, develop, and refine complete AI-/ML-driven solutions and algorithms for hearing technology
- Build and validate prototypes addressing clearly defined, high-impact opportunities
- Investigate and apply state-of-the-art AI/ML methods, frameworks, and tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally with AI CoE, R&D, Product, and Engineering teams
- Support patenting of innovative ideas and features where relevant
- Contribute to MLOps and DevOps best practices including version control, modern PR workflows, CI/CD and scalable deployment pipelines
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in machine learning and AI methodologies (e.g., Deep Learning, Bayesian methods, nonparametric models, optimization)
- Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, SciPy
- Programming skills in Python
- Familiarity with modern software engineering practices (git, code reviews, DevOps/MLOps principles, CI/CD)
- Ability to work with real-world data and iterate based on feedback and performance
- (Nice to have) Experience with hearing technology, medical devices, or other regulated environments
- Strong analytical mindset combined with curiosity and creativity
- Clear and effective communication skills, with confidence to share and challenge ideas
