About the role
- Develop and build complex prompts, applications, and agents to support customers
- Create and optimize base prompts used in customers' content creation pipelines
- Use linguistic expertise to craft search patterns enforcing customer formatting and style
- Design, develop, and evaluate prompt chains for specific content tasks
- Curate datasets and determine how to use customer input data with Palmyra models
- Scope projects with Customer Success and customers and define best practices
- Maintain documentation of prompt engineering processes and outcomes
- Collaborate with engineering to integrate prompt engineering work into the product
- Report initially to the VP of Technical delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer science, Linguistics, or a related field
- Solid coding proficiency using Python
- Professional experience in prompt design and a deep understanding of linguistic principles
- Expertise working with search patterns for morphology and word patterns
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and evaluating base prompts
- Knowledge of natural language processing and machine learning concepts is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Problem-solving mindset and a passion for working on complex challenges
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
