About the role

  • Support projects focused on water resources—particularly riverine and wetland systems
  • Gain hands-on exposure across a range of project types and phases, including planning, design, and construction
  • Work from WRA's San Diego office approximately three days per week, with the option to work remotely up to two days per week
  • Participate in approximately three to four site visits over the course of the internship

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil, environmental or agricultural engineering
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with teams
  • Passion to learn and assist in delivering quality projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Valid driver's license
  • Familiarity in HEC-RAS
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Civil 3D
