Engineer

• Support projects focused on water resources—particularly riverine and wetland systems
• Gain hands-on exposure across a range of project types and phases, including planning, design, and construction
• Work from WRA's San Diego office approximately three days per week, with the option to work remotely up to two days per week
• Participate in approximately three to four site visits over the course of the internship

• Focus primarily on preparing competitive proposals/SOQs (supporting the Proposal Manager for proposals as a prime consultant and leading those where WRA is a subconsultant) using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word.
• Lead and/or support competitive pursuits in a variety of market sectors, service lines, and geographies in California.
• Assist with updates and maintenance of materials, including project data sheets, resumes, market/service line descriptions, and other proposal and marketing content.
• Assist with data entry and updates in CRM system using Deltek Vantagepoint, Open Asset, and Asana.
• Work collaboratively with your distributed colleagues using tools such as Zoom, Slack, Asana, file sharing (Egnyte).
• Participate in professional organizations (i.e. SMPS) for professional development.
