About the role

  • Receive, enter, verify, and update customer orders and monitor backorders, shipping status changes, and order cancellations
  • Capture complete, clear notes in systems to ensure visibility and continuity
  • Manage quotes and outreach by following policies and perform proactive follow-up
  • Respond to customer emails promptly and efficiently through written communication
  • Focus on data accuracy, timelines, and supporting the overall flow of customer transactions
  • Report to the Customer Service Manager
  • Work Monday through Friday, work hours begin and end between 7:30am and 4:00pm with a half-hour lunch and two rest breaks
  • Full-time temporary position requiring eight hours per day and occasional paid overtime may be necessary

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Speaks clearly, slowly and is a good listener
  • Highly organized with a strong diligence and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to work quickly with thoroughness and efficiency
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Outlook
  • Specific vision abilities required: Close vision and Distance vision
  • Auditory/hearing ability to hear others using a phone or online conferencing system
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
  • Regularly required to sit for prolonged periods
  • Responsible person with regular attendance required
