About the role
- Drive Engineering Excellence
- Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring scalable, high-quality delivery
- Establish and enforce clean code standards and SOLID principles across teams
- Champion test-driven development (TDD) and robust code review practices
- Implement and optimize continuous integration pipelines for faster, higher-quality releases
- Evaluate and implement AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
- Track and improve key metrics like deployment frequency, code quality, MTTR, and technical debt
- Build and mentor engineering talent through coaching, career development, and technical leadership
- Own incident management and reliability improvements, including RCA and post-mortems
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years leading engineering teams
- Proven success leading platform modernization or transformation initiatives
- Experience in Agile/SAFe environments at enterprise scale
- Strong understanding of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, TDD, SOLID, DevOps)
- Experience implementing AI-assisted development tools and governance frameworks
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-level insights
