About the role

  • Manage several projects and lead the team with the manager’s support to deliver multiple solutions to support Toyota Woven City Operation throughout the entire system lifecycle
  • Make a project plan and define high-level requirements, project scope, and operational policy and rules with the manager’s support
  • Work with partners to define requirements, set high-level schedules and milestones, identify risks, priority and communicate with cross-functional partners both across the company and externally with the manager’s support
  • Do everything you need to succeed by considering the balance of cost, speed, flexibility and quality
  • Responsible for the success of the cross-functional task force projects in charge with the manager’s support

Requirements

  • 3+ years of leading or managing new product / service development projects as a Program Manager
  • Experience a part of the system development project lifecycle, especially for Post-Production/System Operation phase
  • A natural collaborator with a win-win drive who can facilitate productive conflict, creating outcomes that magnify input exponentially for all parties involved
  • Verbal and written presentation skills in business level English and Japanese language
  • A certain range of technical experience regarding mid-large-scale software development, especially for system operation / DevOps solutions
  • Problem solving skills with taking ownership to resolve problems with multiple stakeholders in timely manner
  • Patience in dealing with different cultures / languages ​​and different decision-making mechanisms and logic
  • Project management with a sense of urgency to complete transactions
  • Demonstrated professional experience in mid or large-scale program management, ideally in digital transformation, AI implication, IoT, CTI (Computer Telephony Integration), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), etc…
  • Experience in product and service development and operation projects that comply with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
  • Enterprise software development experience and knowledge in Javascript/HTML/CSS (or equivalent languages for development on PaaS/SaaS system)
  • Experience of development of IoT service product or big data platform or AI-based learning platform
