About the role
- Support the development of high-quality pitch materials, project concepts, proposals, and RFP responses.
- Collaborate with Delivery teams from business units such as Strategy, Medical, Creative, and to build compelling narratives and pull through cross-functional capabilities into cohesive pitches.
- Drive team coordination across business units and subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver polished, on-brand business development assets.
- Identify, engage, and cultivate new client relationships across life sciences, with a focus on whitespace opportunities, brand teams, and marketing decision-makers.
- Leverage HubSpot CRM to manage outreach, track pipelines, and build reporting dashboards with support from RevOps.
- Partner with Marketing to follow up on leads generated from campaigns, events, content, and paid media.
- Collaborate with business units and account managers to activate whitespace opportunities across current accounts, proactively developing growth plays for under-penetrated brands and therapeutic areas.
- Support the quality of the sales pipeline by facilitating regular input and updates from business units and account managers.
- Develop and maintain sales and pipeline reports for the SVP of Growth and Chief Strategy & Growth Officer, enabling executive visibility and strategic oversight.
- Serve as a facilitator of cross-functional pipeline and pursuit meetings to maintain a real-time pulse on key opportunities, blockers, and business development progress.
- Serve as secondary support, after the Sales & Marketing Analyst for the Delivery teams on HubSpot helping develop reports and troubleshoot.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in business development or sales operations roles within the biopharma/life sciences services industry
- Strong understanding of agency and/or professional service environments, including medical communications, creative/promo marketing and/or strategic consulting
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with an ability to manage up and down
- Highly proficient in AI, HubSpot CRM and PowerPoint
- Self-starter with a problem-solving mentality
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and follow-through.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field (preferred)
- Experience supporting proposal development and/or account-based marketing programs (preferred)
