About the role
- Serve as Global Lead Medical Monitor (GLMM) for pan-regional and/or global oncology trials
- Provide therapeutic and protocol-specific training to project teams
- Contribute medical input into design of clinical development programs, study protocols, research papers and client-focused white papers
- Maintain project and therapeutic knowledge via internal meetings, literature review, conference attendance
- Assist in attaining departmental revenue targets and other senior-management-directed activities
- Support Business Development through proposal input, feasibility assessments, and sponsor meetings
- Mentor medical staff and support Senior Management leadership
Requirements
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution of Medical Education
- Oncology/ Hematology Board Certification
- 6-8 years in the CRO, Pharma or Biotech industry with the medical monitoring or study physician role
- Experience reviewing and/or assisting in the preparation of final study reports (CSRs), Protocols, ISS/ISEs
- Proven track record supporting Business Development: proposal generation, feasibility assessments, review of proposals/contracts, sponsor meetings
- Working knowledge of GCPs and regulatory requirements relating to clinical development and safety
- Robust clinical/therapeutic acumen in medical subspecialty
- Ability to mentor other medical staff, demonstrating exemplary work ethics, compassion and integrity
- Valid passport and ability to travel if required
