About the role
- Delivering assigned responsibilities supporting a timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close process
- Participate in global operational accounting activities, including the delivery of effective and efficient end-to-end accounting solutions and processes
- Accounting system and process development, implementation, and ongoing execution
- Implementation of efficient and automated systems and process solutions
- Comprehensive documentation of accounting policies and procedures
- Information and analysis to support monthly balance sheet and profit and loss (P&L) reviews that provide insight into key business drivers that are impacting financial results
Requirements
- 6+ years of global accounting experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; Master’s Degree in Accounting preferred
- Knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) required
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and month-end accounting close required
- Experience with international operations is a plus
- Experience with external audits a plus
- Experience with international statutory audits a plus
- Prior experience within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical sectors is a plus
- Must demonstrate good judgment and mature business skills
