About the role
- Identify and secure new business opportunities by developing a robust pipeline of potential clients across Worldsensing sectors (Civil Engineering, Oil & Gas, Mining, Environment) in the Indian market
- Conduct in-depth market research to uncover customer needs, emerging trends, and opportunities for product or service alignment, ensuring solutions are tailored for high-value impact
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships by consistently delivering exceptional service and addressing customer requirements proactively
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to penetrate new markets while driving revenue growth and maintaining profitability within allocated budgets
- Collaborate with distributors to optimize performance, enhance market reach, and deliver actionable insights to management based on ongoing performance reviews
- Represent the company at international conferences, trade shows, and client meetings to expand the brand presence and foster business development opportunities
Requirements
- Strong business acumen
- 3 to 5 years of experience in international sales, business development, or strategic growth roles, preferably in services or equipment sales
- Proven success in developing new business in fields such as sensors or Worldsensing sectors (Civil Engineering, Oil & Gas, Mining, Environment)
- An engineering degree or a strong geotechnical background is highly desirable
- Fluent in English
- Willingness and availability to travel extensively (40–50% of the time)
