About the role
- Design, develop, and test Mainframe software for scalability, reliability, and data recovery associated with a high-volume, high-availability Merchant Billing platform
- Design, develop, and test DB2 Stored Procedures in coordination with web-based application teams
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Product, Business Operations, Merchant Services and Support, to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Collaborate within a dynamic team of onshore and offshore engineers to design, develop, and deliver effective solutions that support key Enterprise initiatives
- Adhere to Agile development processes, coding standards and best practices
- Maintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance with audit and security requirements
Requirements
- This position is not eligible or visa sponsorship, now or in the future. Candidates must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Candidates must be located near Cincinnati, OH, Jacksonville, FL, Atlanta, GA or Denver, CO and required in office 2 days/week
- 5 years experience in Enterprise IBM COBOL and/or DB2 Stored Procedures
- 5 years experience on IBM z/OS, JCL, VSAM
- Advanced SQL skills to perform ad-hoc analyses and deliver clear findings to stakeholders
- Ability to clearly communicate with team members and Business Partners
- Experience working in Agile project environments (Agile/Scrum methodology)
- Ability to fluidly change context and priorities based on changing business needs
- If offered (nice-to-have): Knowledge of Enterprise Billing processes
