About the role
- Drives new business growth and boosts profitability in existing accounts
- Serve as the strategic sales lead, consulting with owners and C-suite executives
- Build and energize a strong referral network and execute proactive outreach strategy
- Build and manage pipeline through referrals and self-generated leads
- Partner with sales teams to expand existing customer relationships
- Deliver persuasive presentations to demonstrate solutions that meet client needs
- Travel within a designated geographical territory to prospect and sign up new local businesses
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Track record of proven success exceeding sales targets
- Excellent cold calling, prospecting, and territory development
- Manage client relationships in partnership with internal teams
- Quickly grasp technology fundamentals
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Effective project and deadline management
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Background in SAAS or payments is a plus
- Proficient in Salesforce as a CRM is a bonus
