About the role

  • Actively advise and support our customers
  • Operate the cash register, perform cash reconciliation, and handle opening and closing procedures
  • Implement commercial targets based on the commercial calendar
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day shop operations
  • Plan daily workflows and staffing (including break scheduling) and coordinate upcoming daily tasks
  • Provide organizational and professional leadership to the sales team
  • Maintain and develop employees' professional competence
  • Onboard and train new employees
  • Perform various administrative tasks
  • Participate in the “Glasi 2035” project team

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in retail (apprenticeship or equivalent)
  • Several years of managerial experience in retail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and structured way of working
  • Strong leadership personality with clear communication and assertiveness
  • High service and quality orientation
  • Independent, reliable and organized work approach
  • Excellent German skills; English skills are an advantage
  • Good user skills in Excel and common merchandise management/ERP systems
