About the role
- Actively advise and support our customers
- Operate the cash register, perform cash reconciliation, and handle opening and closing procedures
- Implement commercial targets based on the commercial calendar
- Ensure smooth day-to-day shop operations
- Plan daily workflows and staffing (including break scheduling) and coordinate upcoming daily tasks
- Provide organizational and professional leadership to the sales team
- Maintain and develop employees' professional competence
- Onboard and train new employees
- Perform various administrative tasks
- Participate in the “Glasi 2035” project team
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in retail (apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Several years of managerial experience in retail
- Entrepreneurial mindset and structured way of working
- Strong leadership personality with clear communication and assertiveness
- High service and quality orientation
- Independent, reliable and organized work approach
- Excellent German skills; English skills are an advantage
- Good user skills in Excel and common merchandise management/ERP systems
