About the role

  • Lead all store operations, including inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, and sales.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to achieve high performance and service standards.
  • Manage daily tasks using aftermarket parts management systems such as Epicor, Partswatch, NextPart, or similar platforms.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aftermarket auto parts brands commonly sold in the GTA.
  • Foster strong relationships with retail and wholesale customers, providing expert guidance and problem resolution.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers for timely procurement and optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, workplace safety, and industry standards.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and leverage insights to optimize store performance.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience managing an aftermarket auto parts store, ideally in the GTA.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise with auto parts management software (Epicor, Partswatch, NextPart, or equivalents).
  • Market Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the major aftermarket auto parts brands and supply landscape in Toronto.
  • Leadership: Effective people management, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Analytical Skills: Solid problem-solving ability and a detail-oriented approach to operations.
  • Education: Diploma or degree in Business, Automotive Technology, or a related field preferred.
