Product Engineer – Feature Flags

• Architect and implement high-performance authorization systems that support real-time policy evaluation, scalable relationship modeling, and consistent permission enforcement across multi-tenant applications
• Build deep domain expertise in authorization paradigms such as RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, hierarchical FGA, and policy-driven access control, along with best practices for domain modeling and permission boundaries
• Work closely with enterprise customers to understand their compliance, governance, and access control requirements, and translate those needs into product features such as delegated administration, advanced auditability, policy versioning, and conditional access
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other product teams, solutions engineering, and GTM to ensure Authorization integrates seamlessly with the broader WorkOS platform, including AuthKit, SSO, Directory Sync, Audit Logs and related developer workflows
• Explore new greenfield opportunities, including incremental authorization primitives, real-time change propagation, agent identity, policy workflows, richer SDK capabilities, and deeper ecosystem integrations
• Play an active role in recruiting, mentoring, and developing the engineering team that will build and refine the Authorization product roadmap

Product Engineer – AuthKit

Recruitment

• Manage candidates through the entire interview process (sourcing, updating candidate pipeline, coordinating interviews, setting expectations, etc.) while maintaining an excellent candidate experience.
• Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified passive candidates.
• Act as a trusted partner and advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance and support throughout the hiring process.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve candidate closing processes.
• Enhance referral programs to maximize the number of network-based referrals.
• Gather feedback from candidates and make data-driven improvements to the recruitment process including employer branding initiatives.
• Track and report on key recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and refine interview loops, questions, and competencies to align with company goals and values.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in all recruitment activities.

• Work directly with customers to design and implement solutions using WorkOS products

• Build and lead high-velocity teams that ship product fast and with polish
• Be deeply technical and hands-on: read the PRs, write prototypes, jump into the weeds
• Take raw ideas and turn them into working systems, even if you have to duct tape the first version
• Rally your team even when there is ambiguity, setbacks, or tough customer asks—run through walls when needed
• Push for clarity, focus, and high energy in every sprint. Drive urgency without burning people out
• Drive alignment on the roadmap and become an expert on customer needs related to the product areas your team owns

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketers to design and maintain the WorkOS website and digital marketing surfaces, including the homepage, product pages, launch weeks, campaign pages, and event experiences
• Help evolve and implement a scalable UI design system that ensures consistency and quality across all web experiences
• Distill complex technical concepts into intuitive, user-friendly design assets

• Generate new leads through targeted outbound activities, including cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, events and other channels
• Research and identify key prospects, decision-makers, and stakeholders within target accounts to tailor your outreach efforts
• Engage with prospects to understand their pain points, business needs, and how WorkOS can help solve their challenges, qualifying them for the sales team
• Set up high-quality meetings and demos for Account Executives by nurturing leads through the sales funnel
• Diligently log all prospecting activities, conversations, and pipeline data in Salesforce (or other CRM systems) to maintain accurate records and forecast pipeline health
• Meet and exceed monthly quotas for outbound activities, including the number of meetings set, emails sent, calls made, and qualified opportunities created

• Own and scale WorkOS’s developer events strategy (meetups, panels, workshops, office events)
• Represent WorkOS as a public-facing technical voice (talks, demos, community conversations)
• Create high-signal technical content that supports events and developer education (guides, talks, demos)
