Account Executive

• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, demos, closing, and expansion
• Build pipeline through a mix of outbound, inbound follow-up, and in-person events (especially in SF and New York)
• Develop internal champions by selling to a technical audience with a developer-first approach
• Run experiments to improve conversion across top-of-funnel, evaluation, and close (messaging, targeting, tooling, events, sequences)
• Partner closely with Solutions Engineers to drive evaluations forward and create delightful technical buyer experiences
• Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene, forecasting, and reporting

Account Executive – Commercial, AI-Native

• Identify, qualify and close high potential customers
• Lead experiments to increase revenue across our Enterprise segment
• Partner with internal teams (marketing, product, engineering) to develop sales strategies

Infrastructure Engineer

• Design and maintain the distributed systems that power core parts of WorkOS
• Write and optimize backend services in TypeScript, with attention to performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Evolve our use of AWS and Infrastructure as Code to scale systems intelligently and sustainably
• Partner with product engineering teams to ensure systems are built with reliability and scale in mind
• Build internal tools and shared infrastructure to support engineers across the company
• Participate in our on-call rotation—responding to, resolving, and learning from production incidents.

Developer Relations

• Work with our users daily via Slack, email, and Zoom
• Understand and be an expert in WorkOS’s products and codebase, supporting technologies such as SAML/OIDC, REST APIs, and modern frontend frameworks
• Provide technical advice to developers on best practices for integrating with our API
• Act as a hard + soft skill mentor and escalation point to junior members of the team
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise from the developer and diagnose any blockers
• Engage customers for feedback to help shape product development

• Lead secure design efforts. Partner with engineering teams on secure design and code reviews. Identify and prioritize risks early in the product lifecycle.

• Design and evolve the systems, tooling, and processes that improve the reliability and performance of WorkOS

• Work closely with enterprise customers to understand their compliance, key control, and security requirements—and translate that into features (e.g., key segmentation, audit logs, cryptographic deletion)

• Architect and implement high-performance authorization systems that support real-time policy evaluation, scalable relationship modeling, and consistent permission enforcement across multi-tenant applications
• Build deep domain expertise in authorization paradigms such as RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, hierarchical FGA, and policy-driven access control, along with best practices for domain modeling and permission boundaries
• Work closely with enterprise customers to understand their compliance, governance, and access control requirements, and translate those needs into product features such as delegated administration, advanced auditability, policy versioning, and conditional access
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other product teams, solutions engineering, and GTM to ensure Authorization integrates seamlessly with the broader WorkOS platform, including AuthKit, SSO, Directory Sync, Audit Logs and related developer workflows
• Explore new greenfield opportunities, including incremental authorization primitives, real-time change propagation, agent identity, policy workflows, richer SDK capabilities, and deeper ecosystem integrations
