About the role
- Design and architect cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure
- Lead solution design for .NET / ASP.NET Core–based applications
- Define architecture standards, best practices, and design patterns
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
- Guide teams on microservices architecture, API design, and integrations
- Oversee cloud migrations from legacy or on-prem environments to Azure
- Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and reliability
- Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments using Azure DevOps
- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and stakeholder meetings
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in .NET application development
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs
- Experience with Azure services such as: Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL / Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus / Event Grid
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud design patterns
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
- Strong communication and stakeholder-facing skills
- Prior experience in an architecture or technical lead role is preferred.
