About the role

  • Lead projects to design, deploy, configure, and manage highly innovative GCP infrastructures and services.
  • Develop highly automated solutions for deployment and management tasks using state-of-the-art tools and technologies.
  • Proactively monitor, optimize performance, and manage the security of GCP resources to ensure availability and reliability.
  • Design and implement innovative DevOps practices to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of applications and services.
  • Research and integrate new GCP features and technologies to continuously optimize our cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster an innovative DevOps culture.
  • Document architectures, processes, and solutions, and provide training and mentoring to team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience configuring and managing GCP cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and extensive experience with advanced tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or Spinnaker.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and extensive knowledge of tools such as Terraform, Google Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
  • Advanced skills in Linux and/or Windows system administration.
  • Programming experience in at least one of the following languages: Python, Go, Ruby, or Java.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions and address technical challenges.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • GCP Professional or Architect certifications are a plus.
