Responsible for the smooth operation and further development of the server infrastructure (Windows & Linux)
Installation, configuration, updates and patching of server services
Ensuring system availability and IT security
Performing backups and data restorations
Troubleshooting, performance optimization and documentation
Close collaboration with DevOps and cloud teams and active participation in IT projects
Development of leadership and management skills with the aim of eventually taking on the IT Infrastructure Team Lead role

Requirements

Completed vocational training or degree in IT or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in server administration with a focus on Windows and Linux
Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
Experience in network administration and IT security
Analytical and self-reliant working style as well as ability to work in a team
Strong interest in professional development and leadership
Very good German language skills (at least C1)
