You are responsible for the smooth operation and further development of the server infrastructure with a focus on:
Management, monitoring and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers
Installation, configuration, as well as updates and patches for server services
Ensuring system availability and IT security
Performing backups and data restorations
Troubleshooting, performance optimization and documentation
Collaborating with DevOps and cloud teams and participating in IT projects

Requirements

Completed vocational training or degree in an IT-related field or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in server administration with a focus on Windows and Linux
Solid knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
Experience in network administration and IT security aspects
Analytical working style, proactive initiative and strong teamwork skills
Very good German language skills (at least C1 level)
