About the role
- Establish and nurture profitable partnerships with corporate and individual clients
- Management of client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance
- Research industry trends and regulatory landscape
- Design customised solutions that address specific client needs
- Communicate value proposition and negotiate beneficial terms
- Provide guidance on financial decisions and investment advice
- Assess financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships
- Document client interactions, transactions, and agreements
- Monitor client satisfaction and revenue metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders
Requirements
- An empowered, commercial driven individual who excels at building, negotiating and closing complex TMT relationship opportunities
- Proven expertise in complex lending £1m+
- Demonstrated success in managing and deepening client relationships with business turnover £5m+
- Strong networking capabilities and a proactive approach to business development
- Experience engaging with both internal and external stakeholders at a senior level
- In-depth understanding of the TMT sector across the UK
- A track record of organising and hosting client-facing events
- A history of identifying and securing new business opportunities within the TMT space
- Experience supporting fundraising businesses
- Familiarity with the full suite of Business Banking products and services
- Relevant lending certifications (CertBB&C & DipBB&C) or accreditations
- Evidence of leadership experience, including mentoring or team management
