About the role
- Be a subject matter expert in performing hydrologic modeling
- Responsible for stormwater design and permitting.
- Including site evaluation, stormwater control practice design, E&S controls/SWP3 support, existing design analysis and improvement, and the details of jurisdictional regulations.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software tools (such as HydroCAD) as well as competency drafting in Civil3D.
- Some experience in ArcGIS Pro or other ESRI products would be a plus.
- Comfort with state, federal, local, and municipal hydrologic design requirements.
- Experience specifically with Ohio EPA and City of Columbus regulations would be a plus.
- Willing to work collaboratively with existing team, including mentoring and cross-training.
- Build from internal team tools, standard references (texts, jurisdictional documentation, data servers), and other resources to help continuously improve processes and deliverables.
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Software: HydroCAD, HEC-RAS.
- Travel: We have several projects/clients in Ohio, travel to the area may be possible.
